The chicken wing was not always as famous as it is today. It was not until 1964 that the Buffalo wing was invented and it has now reached great heights. The wing consists of three parts: the drumette, the wingette and the tip. The tip, which is great for stocks and soups, is the least used of the three. The drumette and wingette are interchangeable and can be cooked in a multitude of ways. Breaded and fried (with sauce) or BBQ naked are just two of the ways that wings can soar.
